Welcome to #iptv, our IPTV player application. We respect your privacy. #iptv does not collect information that directly identifies you (such as name, email, or phone number). We do receive certain device information (e.g. IP address, device model, OS version) for diagnostics, as outlined below.
#iptv does not collect information that directly identifies you (such as name, email, phone number, or address). The diagnostic data referenced in Section 3 is limited to device identifiers and technical logs that cannot by themselves identify you.
Any playlists, stream URLs, or content links you add to the app are stored locally on your device only. The app does not transmit these user-provided links or your viewing history to our servers. Your playlists and streaming preferences remain on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not upload, store, or access the content of your playlists on our systems.
The app may collect anonymous technical information to improve performance and stability. This may include:
This information is used solely to diagnose issues, fix bugs, and improve the app's performance and compatibility. No viewing activity or user playlist data is transmitted to us.
Our legal basis for processing the diagnostic data described in Section 3 is our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the stability and security of #iptv.
#iptv may use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting (such as Firebase Crashlytics or Apple's built-in analytics). These services collect anonymous technical data as described above. We do not use any third-party advertising services or tracking networks that collect personal information. If we integrate additional third-party services in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
Diagnostic data may be processed on Google servers located outside your country, including the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to help safeguard these transfers.
If you purchase any premium features or in-app products, the App Store may provide us with certain transaction data (such as order IDs and your region). We do not receive any personal payment information, as all financial transactions are handled securely by Apple. We only receive minimal data necessary to provide the purchased service.
Any technical data we collect is used exclusively for:
We do not use any data for marketing purposes, user profiling, or selling to third parties. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this policy.
When you use #iptv to stream content, you are accessing third-party sources (your chosen IPTV stream providers). Any data exchange that occurs when accessing these streams (such as your IP address being visible to the stream source) is between you and that content provider, not with us. We do not control the privacy practices of these third-party content sources.
If the app provides links to external websites (such as support pages), please note that once you leave the app, those third parties' privacy policies govern. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites or services.
We take reasonable measures to protect any data we may collect. We use standard security practices and encryption where appropriate. However, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Since we store minimal data on our servers, the primary security considerations are your device security and the security of the streaming links you use.
Any diagnostic logs or analytics data we collect are retained only as long as necessary for their intended purpose (typically for bug analysis and app improvement). If you contact us for support via email, any personal information you provide will be used only to assist you and will be deleted when no longer needed. We follow data minimization principles and do not retain unnecessary information.
#iptv is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or 16 where applicable under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received personal data from a child under the applicable age, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information. Since our app does not collect personal data, this is primarily a compliance measure.
We respect your data protection rights under applicable privacy laws such as the EU's GDPR and California's CCPA. You have the right to:
We do not "sell" personal data as defined by CCPA. We handle any data processing in accordance with applicable laws and will honor your privacy rights requests.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
We collect “Device Information” (technical data) solely for app functionality and diagnostics. We do not share this data for cross-context behavioral advertising and we do not sell personal information.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, our data practices, or would like to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at support@appsmartcore.com. We are committed to addressing your privacy concerns and will respond within 30 days.
